‘Sholay ki Basanti’ will be back on-screen but, this time it’s not with her ‘Dhanao’ as she will be seen riding an open rickshaw in ‘Ramu Ke Sholay’. Nisha Kothari, who plays Ghungroo a character, inspired by Basanti, looks promising in the promos and has been winning a lot of appreciation but, one person, who is not quite happy with Ramu’s choice for Basanti in the remake is the original Basanti Hema Malini.

Hema expressed her unhappiness over and over again by saying that she was not very happy with Ramu opting for Nisha to play her Basanti character. Nisha Kothari is however, taking the comment in the right spirit as she feels that Hema Malini being offended is quite justified.

The young actress has found a way of winning over Hema Malini as she is planning to invite Hema for the premiere of the movie.

Nisha is positive that after seeing the movie, Hema will have a change of heart. Isn’t that smart? Well, now we know why Ramu is so fond of Nisha and why he continues to shower the gal with expensive gifts and treats.
